NEW SHOW at The San Francisco Dungeon -- Chinatown Gang Wars!

It’s 1895. The streets of Chinatown are violent. Fong “Little Pete” Ching runs this part of town, and you don’t want to cross him…but you probably will. As the leader of the Som Yop Tong, Little Pete has built an empire on prostitution, gambling, and opium sales. He doesn’t go anywhere without two German shepherds, two pistols, a chain-mail armor vest, and a hat reinforced with metal. He seems approachable, right? Wrong.

Seek safety in the Chinatown morgue as the mortician and his assistant use Asian shadow puppets to tell you more about Little Pete, his victims, and what gang wars are like in Chinatown. Keep your arms and legs inside of the morgue at all times — you don’t want to lose them on these gang invaded streets.

Also, keep your eyes peeled for the Rat Bar coming this June! It’s like the Rat Cafe, but better!

Dates: Now through July 31, 2019

Hours: Varies daily.

Location: 145 Jefferson Street

Alcatraz Cruises' Night Tour

Alcatraz is mysterious at any time of day, but for those that want a real thrill, check out the Island’s Night Tour. As the sun sets and the crowds begin to dissipate, Alcatraz becomes just a little more intriguing.

While guests of the Night Tour will enjoy the same encounters as Day Tour guests, the intrigue starts with a private guided tour pointing out the hidden spots used for attempted escapes and prison structures unreachable by foot. A guide will lead a walk up the hill to the cellhouse, with stops that highlight the layers of history from pre-Civil War and a military cannon, as well as a “diary” of family life on the Island.

In addition, Night Tour customers can expect experiences that may include areas normally restricted, including the hospital accommodations, the dark solitary confinement cells, stories of life inside from real prisoners, and the intensity of a prison breakout as told by correctional officers who lived and worked there. While the specific areas of Alcatraz are not revealed before the tour, all guests will definitely encounter something unique.

Departure Time: 6:30 p.m.

Location: Pier 33, Alcatraz Landing

For more information: Call 1-415-981-ROCK(7625) or email info@alcatrazcruises.com
