Anchorage Square. The biking, rolling, touring, shopping, dining, quacking hub of Fisherman's Wharf. More than 35 fun activities, stores, restaurants and services including City Sightseeing SF, Bay Quackers, Bike and Roll, Hooters, In-N-Out Burger, Cold Stone Creamery, Starbucks, Hidden Plunder, Crazy Shirts, Benetton, Courtyard by Marriott, Hertz and Avis. Anchorage Square is located in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf with easy access from the Hyde Street cable car turnaround or the vintage F line streetcar. A unique marine nature center featuring over 20,000 aquatic animals from the San Francisco Bay and surrounding waters. Walk through 300 feet of crystal clear tunnels just inches from sharks, skates, octopus, bat rays and other amazing marine animals. Visit a re-creation of Northern California's rocky shore line and touch leopard sharks, bat rays and sea stars. Daily special events include animal feedings, naturalist presentations and Behind the Scenes tours. Open year round except for December 25. Summer and holiday hours are 9 am to 8 pm; other times of year the Aquarium is open from 10 am to 6 pm.

The SS. Jeremiah O'Brien is one of two remaining fully functional Liberty Ships of the 2,710 built and launched during WWII. It has the distinction of being the last unaltered Liberty Ship and remains historically accurate. Moored at Pier 45, Fisherman's Wharf
, she is a premier San Francisco attraction. A living museum on the National Register of HIstoric Places and National Historic Landmark, the O'Brien transports you back almost seven decades to when sailors braved the harshest of high seas and threat of enemy attack. O

PIER 39, San Francisco's Premier Bay Attraction, is located at the northern end of The Embarcadero, with stunning San Francisco views. PIER 39 is a two-story festival marketplace, with 110 shops and 13 restaurants with Bay views. PIER 39 is home to San Francisco's famous street performers and musicians who perform daily. The Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf features more than 250 life-like personalities. Each of the scenes in the Museum are unique; the Chamber of Horrors was designed to create a mood of horror and disbelief, while the hallowed Hall of Religions pays tribute to the world's great living religions. The most popular section of the Museum is The Gallery of Fame, including sports heroes, royalty, scientists, U.S. Presidents, historical personalities and entertainment icons. Recent arrivals include such glittering stars as Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Open daily, rain or shine.
