Walk, Ride, Drive or Cruise 

Once you arrive at the San Francisco or Oakland airport, your transportation options include rental cars, limousines, shuttle service, taxies and BART. We are 20 miles north of both airports. If you are flying into the San Jose airport, it is about 60 miles south of San Francisco.

Even better, once you are at Fisherman’s Wharf, you can easily walk to all our attractions, restaurants and shopping areas. If you’re so inclined, pedicabs, horse drawn carriages or the historic F-line streetcars will take you to your destination. Taxis, limousines, cable cars, rental cars and city buses meet all other transportation needs.

Driving Directions

From the South Bay, San Francisco Airport and San Jose Airport
• Take Highway 101 North to Highway 80 East
• Exit at 4th Street
• Stay left onto Bryant Street (get in right lane)
• Stay on Bryant Street to The Embarcadero
• Turn left onto The Embarcadero (get into right lane)
• Straight Fisherman's Wharf (approximately 2.5 miles)

From the North Bay
• Take Highway 101 South across the Golden Gate Bridge
• Pass through the Toll Plaza and stay to your left
• Take Lombard Street Exit (on right side)
• Follow Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue
• Take a left onto Van Ness Avenue (stay right)
• Follow Van Ness Avenue to Bay Street (about three blocks)
• Turn right on Bay Street to Fisherman's Wharf (two blocks)

From the East Bay and Oakland Airport
• Take Interstate 80 West across the Bay Bridge
• Take Harrison/Embarcadero Exit (on left side)
• Turn right at Harrison Street (end of off-ramp)
• Follow Harrison to The Embarcadero
• Turn left onto The Embarcadero
• Straight Fisherman's Wharf (approximately 2 miles)
